Barons Racer

Philodryas baroni

Baron’s racers are a fascinating arboreal species, they are usually found displaying themselves on their branches. They are often quite curious and will explore wherever they can. They are green from hatching out of the egg and sometimes have a prominent black stripe from the back of their head to half way down their body. They also have a little horn on the end of their nose which gives them a distinctive look. This species are rear-fang venomous so are only suitable for keepers with a good knowledge of snake keeping and behaviour.
