Boa Constrictors are the ideal introduction into larger snakes. They are not necessarily classed as a dangerous animal, but have the potential to be dangerous, as do most animals. Boas will wrap themselves around their prey and tighten their bodies until the prey dies from asphyxiation. Contrary to popular belief, they have great temperaments and make a great pet.
