Tarantulas have become a very popular pet over the last few years. Some species are docile whilst others are highly aggressive. They are venomous, as all tarantulas are and are delicate, due to this; it is advised that you don’t handle any tarantulas. Tarantulas are separated into two main geographical types, old world and new world. Old world species tend to have a more potent venom, are faster and more aggressive. New world species tend to be stockier in the body, are more docile and have Urticating hairs.
