Health checks

Like any animals, reptiles can develop health issues - but they often hide signs of illness or weakness. This means problems can go unnoticed until they become serious. Regular check-ups are important to monitor your reptile’s wellbeing and help catch any issues early.

If we feel your reptile needs veterinary attention, we will refer you to a vet. We recommend using Amicus Veterinary Surgery for any specialist care.

Please ensure you book an appointment before visiting for a health check, as only certain members of staff are trained to assist with these.

To help us carry out a thorough check, please bring photos and details of your full setup, including heating, thermostat, lighting, temperatures on both sides of the enclosure, diet and supplements. This information allows us to identify and address any potential issues caused by incorrect equipment.
