Tarantula, Spider and Scorpion Enclosure Cleaning Service
Although tarantulas, spiders and scorpions are relatively low-maintenance pets, their enclosures still require regular cleaning to maintain a healthy environment. We understand that some keepers may feel nervous about handling their animals during this process, so our experienced team is happy to help.
We'll safely remove your tarantula, spider or scorpion, thoroughly clean the enclosure, replace the substrate if required, and return your pet to its home with as little stress as possible.
Prices start from £5.00 per enclosure. Please note that tank upgrades, substrate and any additional décor are charged separately.

1. Appointments
Enclosure cleaning is by appointment only and is carried out by trained members of the KBN Reptiles team.
2. Animal Welfare
Your pet's welfare is our priority. If we believe removing or handling your tarantula or scorpion would cause unnecessary stress or pose a risk to the animal or our staff, we reserve the right to stop or refuse the service.
3. Cleaning Service
Our standard cleaning service includes safely removing your pet, cleaning the enclosure and returning your animal once the enclosure is ready. Replacement substrate and additional décor are not included in the cleaning fee and will be charged separately if required.
4. Health Concerns
If we identify any concerns regarding your pet's health or enclosure during cleaning, we will discuss these with you and offer appropriate husbandry advice where possible.
5. Owner Responsibility
Owners are responsible for transporting their tarantula or scorpion in a secure, escape-proof enclosure or container.
6. Liability
Whilst every reasonable care is taken, KBN Reptiles cannot accept liability for complications arising from pre-existing health conditions or where an animal behaves unpredictably during handling.
